| A native Texan, a descendent of pioneers who came to Texas in the 1820s as a part of Stephen F. Austin’s “Little Colony”, Harry Krenek has degrees in history Howard Payne University, Texas State University, and a Ph.D. in history from Texas Tech University. In addition to publishing numerous magazine articles on Texas history, he has written two books, The Power Vested: The Texas National Guard , 1919-1932, and The Dawson Massacre and the Men of the Fayette Company. He currently teaches history courses at Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Del Mar College. | |
